RJB Tutoring – Membership Terms of ServiceEffective Date: July 3, 2026By enrolling in an RJB Tutoring membership and submitting payment, you agree to the following Terms of Service.⸻1. Membership OverviewRJB Tutoring provides ongoing online academic support through recurring monthly memberships for students in Grades 3–8.Membership options include:- Momentum Membership – Small-Group Academic Support (3–5 students)
- Growth Membership – Personalized 1-on-1 Academic SupportMemberships include live online instruction in Math and/or Reading, depending on the membership selected.RJB Tutoring provides services throughout the United States.⸻2. Membership EnrollmentBy submitting payment, you confirm that you:- Have read and agree to these Terms of Service.
- Are authorized to use the payment method provided.
- Understand that your membership automatically renews each month until canceled.
- Accept responsibility for all scheduled membership payments.Your payment serves as your electronic acceptance of these Terms.⸻3. Membership BillingMemberships are billed monthly and automatically renew each billing cycle unless canceled before the next scheduled billing date.Payments are due on the scheduled billing date.If a payment cannot be processed, RJB Tutoring may:- Pause membership benefits.
- Suspend future tutoring sessions.
- Require payment before services resume.Outstanding balances remain the responsibility of the member.⸻4. Membership CancellationThere are no long-term contracts.Members may cancel their membership at any time by providing written notice before their next scheduled billing date.Cancellation prevents future billing only.Membership fees already paid for the current billing cycle are non-refundable.Members may continue using their membership through the end of the paid billing period.⸻5. Refund PolicyMembership fees are non-refundable once a billing cycle has begun.Because RJB Tutoring reserves instructor availability and small-group placement for each member, refunds are not provided for:- Missed sessions
- Late arrivals
- Scheduling conflicts
- Voluntary withdrawal
- Lack of attendance
- Dissatisfaction after membership services have begunRJB Tutoring does not guarantee specific academic outcomes.Student progress depends on:- Consistent attendance
- Student participation
- Student effort
- Parent involvement
- School curriculum
- Individual learning needs
- Factors beyond RJB Tutoring’s control⸻6. Attendance & Missed SessionsMembers are expected to attend all scheduled tutoring sessions.Students arriving more than 15 minutes late may forfeit that session.Missed sessions are not guaranteed to be rescheduled.Make-up sessions may be offered solely at RJB Tutoring’s discretion based on tutor availability.⸻7. SchedulingRJB Tutoring reserves the right to modify tutoring schedules due to:- Holidays
- Instructor availability
- Inclement weather
- Technology issues
- Operational needsReasonable advance notice will be provided whenever possible.⸻8. Member ExpectationsParents agree to:- Encourage consistent attendance.
- Ensure students arrive prepared and ready to participate.
- Maintain respectful communication with tutors and staff.Students are expected to participate respectfully during every session.Repeated disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in suspension or termination of membership without refund.⸻9. Chargebacks & Payment DisputesIf you have a billing concern, you agree to contact RJB Tutoring before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.Should a payment dispute occur, RJB Tutoring may provide:- Membership enrollment records
- Payment records
- Attendance records
- Communication history
- These Terms of ServiceFraudulent chargebacks may result in collection efforts and any legal remedies available under applicable law.⸻10. Academic ResultsRJB Tutoring provides structured academic support designed to help students build:- Stronger academic skills
- Better grades
- Greater confidenceHowever, academic outcomes cannot be guaranteed.Results vary based on:- Student attendance
- Student effort
- Parent involvement
- School curriculum
- Individual learning needs
- Other circumstances beyond RJB Tutoring’s control⸻11. Limitation of LiabilityRJB Tutoring shall not be liable for:- School decisions
- Report card grades
- Standardized testing results
- Promotion or retention decisions
- Technical interruptions beyond our reasonable control
- Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damagesAny liability shall be limited to the membership fees paid during the most recent billing cycle.⸻12. Changes to Membership & TermsRJB Tutoring reserves the right to modify:- Membership pricing

- Tutoring schedules
- Policies
- These Terms of ServiceMaterial changes will be communicated whenever reasonably possible.Continued participation after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.⸻13. Governing LawThese Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York.Any dispute arising from these Terms or services provided by RJB Tutoring shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located within the State of New York.By enrolling, you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.⸻14. Membership ChangesMembers may upgrade or downgrade between the Momentum Membership and Growth Membership at any time, subject to availability.Pricing adjustments resulting from a membership change will take effect on the next billing cycle unless otherwise agreed to in writing by RJB Tutoring.If the requested membership is unavailable because of scheduling or enrollment capacity, RJB Tutoring may place the member on a waiting list or recommend the next available option.RJB Tutoring reserves the right to approve or deny membership changes based on tutor availability, scheduling capacity, and educational fit.⸻16. Tutor AssignmentsRJB Tutoring strives to provide consistency by assigning students to the same tutor whenever reasonably possible.However, RJB Tutoring reserves the right to change tutors or instructors at any time due to scheduling, staffing, availability, professional judgment, or educational needs.Tutor changes do not constitute grounds for cancellation, refund, credit, or adjustment of membership fees.
